Kimball Lane brings a wealth of leadership experience and skills HAI needs to grow and diversify our operations and increase our ability to deliver our mission – to bring more love and acceptance into the world.
Kimball founded and led her first organization in 1986, a crisis center in New Mexico serving tribal communities. She since has led as an Executive Director, Board member, and VP of Resource Development for the California Alliance Against Domestic Violence, Women’s Therapy Center, and Boys & Girls Clubs respectively.
Her background in resource development is extensive with an emphasis on creating diversified income streams, and she has led and taught teams to raise millions of dollars in revenue and donations. In her consulting practice of 20 years, she has worked with over 200 social change organizations and businesses and specializes in organizational transitions – helping to identify and solve blocks to progress and success and move organizations to their greatest positive impact.
Wearing her other hat, Kimball is a certified Co-Active coach of seventeen years and has brought these skills to her work with both executives and organizations. She has created and facilitated co-active workshops specializing in communication and human connection within her own coaching practice. She has been a coach through Pathways Institute (a mystery school organization) and discovered HAI in 2012.
Kimball joins us knowing the organization. She has completed the series of nine LIS workshops, and has served as a Board Consultant since 2016, which has given her valuable insight into HAI through both a programmatic and operational lens.
She is committed to and passionate about our work, and we enthusiastically support her in making HAI’s next and critical chapter a success.
